How we are remunerated for our services
As Independent Financial Advisers we can receive remuneration for our services on the following basis:
- Fee – calculated as either a flat fee agreed in advance or on hourly rates or a percentage of funds invested.
- Commission – paid by the product provider for introducing the business to them. The commission is paid out of the contracts established and we will disclose the amount payable. In some cases we may be in a position to rebate part of the commission back to you thereby increasing you rinvestment allocation.
- Fee and commission – our services can also be paid by a combination of the two. In the event that the commission payable for establishing the arrangement does not cover our costs, it can then be supplemented by a fee.
- Mortgages - There may be a fee for mortgage advice. The precise amount of the fee will depend upon your circumstances but we estimate it will be £300.
